Oxford Fine Press Book Fair

Nick and Tilly Wonham at the Incline Press table at the Oxford Fair.

Fine piece of ephemera from Jamie Murphy at his Salvage Press in Dublin.

The criteria for the Judges Choice Awards, and the three winners were . . .

Thanks to Martyn Ould for these three photos: Nancy Loeber from Brooklyn using the most exquisite tints on her woodcut images,

Gaylord Schanilac from St Paul with his Report from Quarantine, American Crow,

and yours truly from Oldham. Still unfinished, this copy was bound with blank pages at the back to give a notion of the heft of the book. Since getting home I’ve started getting prospectuses in the post, and if you’ve not had one in the next week or two, let me have your street address and I’ll get a copy posted to you. All advance orders will be getting an envelope of ephemera as thanks, and probably another when I shall report that copies are with the binder. He is Roger Gretch, who made a good study of this copy and went away satisfied with the look of the thing, so all is well.

Along with stuffing envelopes, since getting back from Oxford I’ve added this piece to the instagram account of letterpress united, and copies will be among the ephemera in that first envelope acknowledging pre-publication orders for Memento Mori : Memento Vivere.
