We welcome visitors, but the nature of the work we do means we may be out of the workshop or unable to stop without advance notice. If planning a visit, please let us know.
By road: use the Manchester ring road (the M60). Take exit 22 and follow the A62 sign for Oldham. It's uphill for about two miles to a major roundabout, at which turn right to bypass the town centre, as shown on the map below. Shortly after you pass the turnoff for Sainsbury's the bypass ends at the Mumps Roundabout. Turn left and immediately left again into Union Street. There are various car parks to your left, a short walk from the workshop. If you wish to park at the Bow Street Car Park across from the workshop get in the right-hand lane as soon as you turn onto Union Street and make a sharp right turn at Cafe Lahore (signed for the BOW STREET CAR PARK) up a steep incline. At the intersection at the top, the workshop is on your left with parking straight ahead and more parking lot to the right.
By rail: Trains run from Victoria Station in Manchester to Oldham Mumps. Leave the station using two underpasses, then diagonally across the large car park. The bottom end of Bow Street can be seen across Union Street and there is a crossing to your left, by the Royal Oak.
