Skipper and Red
are the two newest members of the Incline Press team. Both enthusiastic
barkers, Skipper also shows a predeliction for eating paper and chasing
cats, while Red, as is appropriate for a dog who came from Reading in
Berkshire, is shown here perusing the Incline Press bookshelves. ![[Red]](Red.jpg)
Both Skipper and Red are rescued dogs. Skipper wound up in the Oldham
RSPCA shelter when his owner was no longer able to care for him during a
lengthy hospital stay. He was exactly what we were looking for, and after
a few walks around our workshop, we were permitted to keep him. Red
comes from a bit farther afield. Shortly after we decided it was time
for a new dog, we discovered the Little
Dog Rescue website--we can highly reccomend these good people, not only
for their adorable dogs, but also for the sterling work of the dedicated
fosterers. Poor
Red was abandoned in Croyden and found living among the rubbish bins behind
a shopping centre. He had a fostering
stay with a wonderful family in Reading; we brought him to Oldham, where
he is a most popular addition to our staff. Although it has taken two dogs
to fill the hole left by Whizzer, their antics havecertainly brought some
more zing to the workshop. And the mouse has gone.
